Finally the new layout design for my site is taking shape. I am going to force my self to keep this layout since I change site layouts way too often for my own good, resulting in never having my site completely done.
Enough of the ranting, I bring you Xenon! One of my favorite original characters! I wanted the site design to be elegant, but yet at the same time futuristic in a settle way so I took an obviously Sci-Fi character and dressed him with something antique... It's SUPPOSED to be the 30's men's suits. I tried making the shoulders broad and overall stiff since I read up that they were that way back then. The female fashion is much more easier to tell what was "hot" back then.
your coloring is always so amazing. ;w; as is your style and clean line art, and the way you draw expressions and poses and alsdkfhasldf asdlfkhsd you are just wonderful. i really like his design. 8D i've always loved something about fashion from back in the day.
Ah, the shading on the skin is really in depth~ But, this may be just me, but the suit looks rather flat compared to the skin? -fails- He looks very classy though : D

You know, I feel like it's harder and harder to critique your work because I really can't think of anything that needs much fixing.
I'm going to occupy myself by rambling about the character first, I think you've introduced Xenon before, maybe not here, maybe on your LJ, because I look through that sometimes too, but I just get this feeling I've seen you introduce him before just not sure where...<__< Nnnneerrgg, anyhow, I think you've definantly accomplished your goal with this, the image feels like one of those good oxymorons. Also, Xenon design isn't like one of those overly futuristic cyborgs which helps with what you're trying to do here. And yes, the suit is very classy looking, ;D Though I think you're just generally good with drawing suits, what with Verardi and everything. >: D Even though the grey/white colored suit seems like an obvious color choice for your purposes, I still think it was a really good call on your part.
