Me and my friend Binni has started a fancomic/doujinshi for history enthusiasts but still appreciate Hetalia for its potential. We're concentrating on explaining the otherwise commonly looked over parts of history, with detailed and well written explanation and providing source links by Binni.
First comic of the monthly batch for June. Binni actually posted a venn diagram to explain how the isles and kingdoms are at the moment. I can't explain it better;
Oh my gosh! Your art is just amazing, this is just too perfect! I'm English and it irritates me that so many other countries think England is also Scotland, Wales and Northen/Southern Ireland, also is it so hard to understand that the United Kingdom/Great Britain is not a country itself but a collection of the countries England, Wales, Scotland and Northen Ireland!? Ahem, rant over... Anyway, I love this so much!
Simply great!!I'm a huge fan of hetalia and you're drawing the characters in a perfect way.I like all the British brothers but I would love to see a female Ireland in your art style,is it possible?...however great job!!!
Just on an aside note. In my History class we didn't really learn the difference. During the revolution the Union flag was hanging and anytime the teacher talked about it, it was 'english' 'england's' things like that.
They really could have used a flow chart or something about this. The venn diagram you have on the tumblr is really useful.
