I wanted to work on a new years pic, a nice, light work, easy simple drawing... since I'm working on two pictures at once.
And my idea went WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE because I did NOT intend to spend THIS much effort into it. Turned out pretty niffy. I have won the best (beyond gold), two golds and each silver and copper (or bronze, which ever was the 3rd) places with my Japanese school calligraphy contests in a row, so I'm not THAT embarrassed to put my hand writing in my designs. So, I drew the boar picture with sumi, and the kanji characters are written on paper and scanned in. The camellias are digitally painted and the character is colored by painter 8, and the fan is a picture of my fan that I own, that is currently missing in my pile of mess. Everything is done by PSCS2 and I'm pretty happy how it turned out! It's the year of the boar... I wish you all a nice, energetic year and run like crazy towards your goalz!  approx. 10hrs.
