I got bored with the last one so I deleted it a while back... and didn't bother to design a different one for a good while so here's the new one I might use it for a while. I love these abstract-like designs and I draw them constantly... never really make it beyond my sketch book and doodle sheets. I had SO much fun drawing the telescope!

Another reason I decided to draw this is to mark a new start in my artist life... I noticed I feel like I'm drawing in a prison lately; drawing to meet what I like and what people might like and been just mentally chained down. The thought of me being a professional got the best of me, and I was satisfied with my skill improvement but I realized they seemed so... distant from me. So from now on I am going to draw what I love to draw, dive into my world and indulge in my philosophy and visions!

"the only thing we choose to see is ourself", I would just like too add one thing. The hardest part for a human is too see what oneself is bad on what he or she needs to improve, people often only see what they are good at and they doesnt often go too that point to see if their someone better then them.
I know there is a hell alot alot more people that are out there that are freaking much better then me on alot of things, some that I look up on too, becuase of that. But to become a better person and get a greater understanding through psychology you need too know yourself, but not only the good things but also for the bad things.

That too, but I also want to add that some people only look at their bad traits and completely ignoring what they're good at as well. Also I want to hint at karma as well; there's a passage in some book I've read a while ago that because we choose to be with people who are similar to us, in a sense when we're looking at our friends, you're looking into a mirror. It's probably also because people treat you the way you treat them thing as well.

Anyway no matter how you choose to see others, I think, you still need something in comparison. Like a ruler to try and tell the accurate size of something. You still need to look at the ruler, and, I think we choose to use ourselves as that ruler. You can always use others to compare other people as well, but what's the point in that?

Those are the other interpretations I included when I wrote that; it's nice to hear other other ideas and thank you for telling me! I highly appreciate it.

I know what you mean. This is why I refuse to become an artist for some company - while everyone keeps shoving art college and shit down my throat -_-; and even when my art looks better it's getting too technical as far as the act of drawing goes and it's losing it's fun.

TOOOOOTALLY understandable.
I know I should take more commissions to satisfy my wallet so I could sustain my life but I can't connect with the characters enough to make it look "good". Also I want to put emotions and LIFE to all my art and it's so obvious I'm losing that.

Hope you can get out of that dilemma... drawing needs to be enjoyable!
